iPhone 18 Pro Tipped to Launch in Burgundy, Coffee, and Purple — Two All-New Colours for 2026 Lineup

iPhone 18 Pro: Just weeks after the iPhone 17 series debut, rumours surrounding Apple’s next-generation iPhone 18 lineup have started surfacing. According to a recent leak, the iPhone 18 Pro could be offered in several new colour options — including shades that have never been seen on an iPhone before.

New Colourways Revealed

As per tipster Instant Digital (via Weibo and reported by MacRumors), Apple is reportedly planning to introduce Burgundy, Coffee, and Purple colourways for the iPhone 18 Pro.

While Purple has been featured in multiple generations — from the iPhone 11 to the iPhone 14 Pro — the Burgundy and Coffee variants are expected to be completely new additions. The Coffee shade is said to resemble a darker version of Desert Titanium, which Apple introduced with the iPhone 16 Pro series.

Interestingly, the leak also suggests that Apple will once again skip offering a black iPhone Pro model, continuing the company’s recent trend of more muted, metallic finishes.

Expected Specifications

According to earlier reports, the iPhone 18 Pro will feature a 6.26-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and adopt HIAA (Hole-in-Active-Area) technology — allowing for an under-display Face ID sensor, leaving only the selfie camera visible.

Powering the device could be Apple’s upcoming A20 chip, built on TSMC’s second-generation 2nm (N2) process. The chipset is expected to bring significant improvements in power efficiency and thermal performance, thanks to a Wafer-Level Multi-Chip Module (WMCM) design that closely integrates the SoC and DRAM, further optimising power use for Apple Intelligence features.

Launch Timeline

While official details remain under wraps, reports indicate that Apple may opt for a staggered release schedule. The iPhone 18 Pro models, along with the second-generation iPhone Air and the first-generation iPhone Fold, are tipped to arrive in Fall 2026. The standard iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e could follow in Spring 2027.
