Tata Play Partners With Apple Music: Tata Play has announced a new partnership with Apple Music that will provide its customers free access to the music streaming platform for a limited time. The offer is available across all Tata Play services, including Tata Play Binge, the Tata Play mobile app, and Tata Play Fiber, extending the company’s entertainment offerings beyond television and OTT into music streaming.
According to the announcement, new Apple Music users will receive a four-month complimentary subscription, while eligible returning users can avail a three-month free trial. After the promotional period ends, subscriptions will automatically shift to the standard Apple Music plan, which is priced at Rs. 119 per month in India.

The offer is available to all Tata Play subscribers, including DTH, OTT, and broadband users. To activate the trial, customers will need to redeem a unique promo code available through their Tata Play accounts. Once activated, users will be able to access Apple Music’s catalogue of songs, curated playlists, genre-based recommendations, and exclusive content across devices.
The partnership reflects Tata Play’s broader strategy to expand its content ecosystem across multiple entertainment formats. The company has been increasingly positioning itself as a unified entertainment service provider through Tata Play Binge, which aggregates content from numerous OTT platforms, and with Tata Play Fiber, its high-speed broadband service.
For Apple Music, the collaboration is expected to bolster the platform’s reach in the Indian market, where competition among streaming services remains strong. Apple Music competes with Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Wynk, and JioSaavn, all of which offer tiered subscription plans and varying levels of bundled benefits with telecom and OTT providers.
Earlier this year, Apple also partnered with TuneIn to make its collection of six curated radio stations accessible globally across supported speakers, headphones, and automotive systems. That collaboration made Apple’s radio programming available beyond its own app ecosystem, extending access to TuneIn’s reported 75 million monthly listeners.
By integrating Apple Music into its subscription bundle, Tata Play aims to offer greater value while encouraging customers to explore entertainment beyond traditional television. The free trial period gives users an opportunity to experience Apple Music’s library and features before deciding whether to continue with a paid subscription once the promotional offer ends.
