Samsung’s One UI 8.5 Beta Update
Samsung is testing a big new update for its phones called One UI 8.5. This update is currently in a beta phase, meaning a small group of people are trying it out to find any issues before it’s released to everyone. The main goals of this update are to make using your phone smarter, safer, and better connected to your other devices.
One UI 8.5 Beta Update Makes Easier Photos Sharing
One of the best new things is how you handle photos.
Continuous Editing: When you use the phone’s AI tools to change a photo (like fixing the background or moving things), you can now make many edits one after the other. You don’t have to stop and save between changes. Once you are done, you can see all the changes you made and choose your best version.
Smart Sharing: The popular Quick Share feature is getting an upgrade. If you take a group picture, your phone can now recognize the people in the photo and instantly suggest sending it to them from your contact list. This makes sharing memories much faster and less work.
One UI 8.5 Beta Update Gives Better Device Connection
Samsung wants all your Galaxy devices to work together more smoothly.
Access All Your Files: Imagine you have a document on your tablet or laptop. With the new Storage Share feature, you can see and open those files directly from the My Files app on your phone. You don’t need to move them or search everywhere all your Samsung storage is connected.
Broadcast Your Voice: A feature called Audio Broadcast lets you use your phone as a microphone to talk to nearby speakers or earbuds that support the technology. It’s handy for guiding a group or giving a quick, informal talk.

One UI 8.5 Beta Update Stronger Safety
Security is a big focus in this update.
Theft Protection: This feature adds strong new ways to keep your phone and all your private data safe if your device is ever lost or stolen.
Lockdown Mode: The Failed Authentication Lock gives you peace of mind. If someone tries to unlock your phone using the wrong password, PIN, or fingerprint too many times, the phone will completely lock down the screen. This prevents thieves or snoopers from making repeated attempts to get into your device.
One UI 8.5 brings smarter tools for photos, easier connection between all your Galaxy devices, and new security features to keep everything safe.
