Oppo Find X9 Pro: Oppo has officially unveiled its latest premium flagship — the Find X9 Pro — at a global launch event in Barcelona, Spain. While the India launch is still a few weeks away, the company has already begun teasing the device for the Indian market.

Pricing and Availability
Globally, the Oppo Find X9 starts at EUR 999 (approx. ₹92,500), while the Find X9 Pro is priced at EUR 1,299 (approx. ₹1,33,600). These prices are based on currency conversion and are not reflective of official India pricing, which will be announced soon.
I’ve been using the Find X9 Pro as my daily driver for a few days — here are my first impressions.
Built Like a (Stylish) Tank
The first thing you’ll notice is the bold new camera block. Oppo has ditched the circular camera module seen on the Find X8 series in favor of a sleek, square housing, giving the device a more minimalist and premium look. The flat-edged design with subtle curves along the frame provides a solid yet comfortable grip.
At 8.25mm thick, the Find X9 Pro strikes a nice balance — not the slimmest around, but comfortably lightweight for daily use, even one-handed. Oppo has also added two physical shortcut buttons:
- The Snap Key, which can be customized to launch various apps or tools (camera, voice recorder, flashlight, etc.)
- The Quick Button, designed specifically to open the camera app instantly — a feature carried over from the X8 series.
For durability, the Find X9 Pro boasts IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings — making it one of the rare devices offering all three levels of dust and water resistance.
The phone is available in Silk White and Titanium Charcoal finishes. My review unit is the Silk White variant, which offers a pearlescent, silk-inspired glow. The Titanium Charcoal version, with its matte texture and deeper tone, looks even more understated and elegant in person.
Display: Bright, Flat, and Flawlessly Symmetrical
The Find X9 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1272×2772 pixel resolution. It’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and reaches a stunning peak brightness of 3600 nits.
Oppo has finally nailed the symmetry game — the bezels measure just 1.15mm on all sides, giving the screen an impeccably balanced look. It’s a flat panel, which makes it perfect for multimedia and gaming. The display also supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, ensuring rich, vivid visuals.
Unlocking the device is seamless, thanks to the 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which feels faster and more reliable than optical ones.
Camera: Hasselblad Heritage Meets AI Innovation
The Find X9 Pro’s camera setup represents a major leap from its predecessor. It houses:
- 50MP primary (23mm) lens
- 50MP ultra-wide (15mm) lens
- 200MP periscope (70mm) telephoto lens
- 50MP front camera
The phone offers 0.6x (15mm), 1x (23mm), 2x (47mm), 3x (70mm), and 6x (140mm) optical zoom levels, providing great flexibility for different shots.
In my brief testing, the 200MP periscope sensor delivered crisp, detailed zoom shots with excellent dynamic range. Oppo also introduced a new Stage Mode, designed for concerts and low-light performance — I’ll be testing this thoroughly in my full review.
As expected, the camera app includes Hasselblad-tuned color science and various creative shooting options. On the video side, the Find X9 Pro can record 4K at 120fps, which is impressive for a smartphone.
Software: Meet ColorOS 16 and Its AI Mind Space
The Find X9 Pro is the first device to debut with ColorOS 16, which brings smoother animations, a Flux Home Screen layout, adaptive icons, and resizable folders — a growing trend among Android UIs.
A new feature called Aqua Dynamics adds interactive glanceable widgets for music, navigation, and food delivery updates. There’s also AI Mind Space, a unified AI hub that helps manage your schedule and reminders. For instance, if you receive an event invite, a simple three-finger swipe triggers AI Mind Space to suggest saving it to your calendar.
Other AI features include AI Recorder, AI Writer, and AI-powered Gallery tools. Interestingly, Oppo has integrated Google’s Gemini AI, though I’ll explore its implementation further in my upcoming detailed review.
Performance and Battery
Powering the Find X9 Pro is MediaTek’s latest 3nm Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with a dedicated vapor chamber for heat management. In my early experience, the phone handled multitasking and gaming effortlessly — but I’ll reserve judgment until I’ve tested it more extensively.
Despite the slim profile, Oppo has packed a massive 7,500mAh battery inside. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging — both impressive for a flagship this sleek.
Early Verdict
The Oppo Find X9 Pro feels like a carefully refined flagship — blending elegant design, powerful hardware, and thoughtful AI features. The combination of a bright display, robust build, versatile cameras, and ColorOS 16 enhancements gives it a strong start.
If Oppo gets the pricing right in India, the Find X9 Pro could very well challenge the best from Samsung and OnePlus in 2025’s flagship lineup.
