Free Google AI Pro Plan for Jio 5G Users: Google and Reliance have announced a major partnership in India that will bring Google’s AI Pro plan, valued at Rs. 35,100, completely free for 18 months to eligible Jio users. The collaboration, revealed on Thursday, aims to accelerate AI adoption across India while expanding access to Google’s latest Gemini 2.5 Pro model through the Gemini app.

As part of this partnership, Jio Unlimited 5G plan users will be able to enjoy the Google AI Pro plan at no additional cost. Initially, the offer will roll out to users aged 18 to 25, with plans to extend it to other eligible groups in the coming months. The move marks one of the largest AI-driven consumer rollouts in the country.
What the Google AI Pro Plan Offers
The Google AI Pro plan is one of the company’s top-tier subscription models, giving users advanced access to AI-powered features within the Gemini app. With this plan, Jio customers will gain access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, Google’s flagship AI model known for its improved reasoning and creative capabilities.
In addition, subscribers will benefit from higher generation limits for both images and videos, powered by Google’s Nano Banana (for image generation) and Veo 3.1 (for video generation) models. Beyond the consumer offering, Reliance and Google are joining forces to introduce Gemini Enterprise for Indian organisations.
