Poco F8 Pro Leak Shocks Fans: No Charger in the Box? Here’s Everything We Know So Far!

Posted on November 7, 2025November 7, 2025 By Kumar Sumit No Comments on Poco F8 Pro Leak Shocks Fans: No Charger in the Box? Here’s Everything We Know So Far!

The Poco F8 Pro is gearing up for a global launch soon, including in India, and fresh leaks are already building excitement — and confusion. The latest buzz comes from a leaked image of the smartphone’s retail box, along with claims suggesting that Poco may not include a charging adapter inside the box this time. If true, this marks a surprising shift for the brand, especially since previous Poco F-series phones were known for providing high-wattage chargers in the package.

Poco F8 Pro

The Poco F8 Pro is set to succeed the Poco F7 Pro and is widely expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K90, which was launched recently in China. The F8 Pro is likely to feature premium specs, including a powerful chipset, a large OLED display, and flagship-level cameras — while possibly cutting back on accessories to keep design or production aligned with newer trends in the smartphone market.

Leaked Box Image Reveals “Sound by Bose” Branding

The latest leak comes via tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), who posted an image appearing to show the official retail box for the Poco F8 Pro. One detail that instantly stands out is “Sound by Bose” printed on the packaging. This is notable because Xiaomi’s Redmi K90 lineup in China has the same audio partnership, strongly suggesting that the Poco F8 Pro is indeed a global version of that phone.

The Bose branding hints at improved audio tuning and speaker performance, something Poco has not heavily focused on in previous models. This could help the F8 Pro stand out in its price segment, especially among users who value immersive sound while gaming, watching content, or listening to music without needing external audio gear.

No Charger Included? A Surprising Move for Poco

The bigger shock comes from the same leak: the claim that Poco will not include a charger inside the box. If this happens, it would be one of the first Poco flagship launches to follow the “no charger” trend that brands like Apple, Samsung, and some Xiaomi sub-series have adopted.

This change could disappoint long-time Poco fans, especially because:

  • The previous Poco F7 Pro included a 90W fast charger in the box.
  • The Redmi K90, which this phone is based on, also comes with a charger in China.

If Poco removes the charger for global markets, it may be to cut shipping costs, reduce packaging waste, or push customers to purchase higher-end chargers separately. However, this move could have mixed reactions in the Indian market, where users still expect value for money and complete accessories.

Certification Confirms Global Launch

The Poco F8 Pro was recently spotted on Singapore’s IMDA certification database under model number 25102PCBE. The listing confirms support for:

  • 5G connectivity
  • Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth
  • NFC

This is a strong indication that the phone is nearly ready for international rollout, and an India launch is likely not far behind.

Expected Specifications (Based on Redmi K90)

If the Poco F8 Pro is indeed a rebranded Redmi K90, here’s what to expect:

FeatureExpected Specification
Display6.59-inch OLED display
ProcessorSnapdragon 8 Elite SoC
RAM & StorageUp to 16GB RAM + up to 1TB storage
SoftwareAndroid 16-based HyperOS 3
AudioBose-Tuned Stereo Audio
Rear Cameras50MP main (1/1.55 sensor) + 50MP telephoto + 8MP ultrawide
Front Camera20MP selfie camera
Battery7,100mAh
Charging100W wired charging + 22.5W reverse charging

The 7,100mAh battery in particular stands out — it’s significantly larger than what most flagship smartphones offer right now. Combined with fast charging options, the Poco F8 Pro could deliver excellent battery life, even with heavy gaming and screen usage.

Expected Price

The Redmi K90 starts at CNY 2,599 (around ₹32,000) in China for the 12GB + 256GB variant. If Poco keeps similar pricing in India, the Poco F8 Pro may land in the ₹30,000 – ₹36,000 range. However, removing the charger could help keep prices more aggressive.

Final Thoughts

With a flagship Snapdragon processor, a bright OLED display, a large battery, and Bose-tuned audio, the Poco F8 Pro already looks promising. However, the possible removal of the in-box charger will likely spark debate. The phone appears primed to compete strongly in the premium mid-range market — especially for gamers and power users.
