OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max Leak Hints at World’s First Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Phone — Here’s Everything We Know

OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max : It looks like OnePlus is preparing something big. Just weeks after launching the OnePlus Ace 6 in China, leaked images suggest that the company is gearing up to unveil an even more powerful version — the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max. A photo of what appears to be the phone’s retail box has surfaced online, hinting that an official launch might be right around the corner.

This new variant could be OnePlus’ answer to the recently launched Redmi K90 Pro Max, which surprised many with its new “Pro Max” branding. Now, OnePlus seems to be following a similar naming strategy — and it may come with record-breaking hardware to back up that title.

A Leaked Retail Box Sparks Excitement

The first signs of the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max appeared when tech site Gizmochina shared an image of its retail box, confirming the name and suggesting that the launch could happen sooner than expected. The box design looks consistent with OnePlus’ recent packaging style, adding credibility to the leak.

The “Pro Max” moniker clearly hints at a step-up in power and performance over the standard Ace 6, which launched in China last month with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

Could This Be the First Phone With Snapdragon 8 Gen 5?

OnePlus had earlier confirmed that it would be the first smartphone brand to debut Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 — the next-generation flagship processor that will succeed the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 8 Elite chips.

If this turns out to be true, the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max could officially become the world’s first phone powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. That would give it a massive lead over rivals like Xiaomi, iQOO, and Vivo in the high-end Android market.

Interestingly, the Vivo S50 Pro Mini — rumoured to launch later this month — is also expected to feature the same chipset. This suggests that the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max could debut by the end of November, potentially before Vivo’s offering hits the market.

OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max Could Also Be the ‘Ace 6 Turbo’

According to earlier leaks, the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max may actually be the same device previously spotted under the codename Ace 6 Turbo.

Leaked specifications point to a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate, promising a flagship-level viewing experience.

Massive Battery, Super-Fast Charging

Powering all that performance will reportedly be a huge 8,000mAh battery, paired with 100W fast charging support. That means users can expect exceptional endurance and quick refueling — perfect for heavy gaming or multitasking.

If true, the Ace 6 Pro Max would have one of the largest batteries ever seen in a OnePlus device, while still maintaining flagship charging speeds.

Camera and Other Key Specs

On the camera front, the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max is expected to feature:

  • A 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS)
  • An 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera
  • A 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls

While not a triple-lens setup like OnePlus’ flagship “Pro” models, the focus here seems to be on a balanced performance-to-price ratio, with capable hardware and strong AI-based image processing.

Other expected features include:

  • Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for faster and more accurate unlocking
  • Dual stereo speakers for immersive audio
  • NFC connectivity for contactless payments
  • X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback
  • Metal middle frame for added durability

The device will reportedly run Android 16 with ColorOS 16 on top and weigh around 216 grams — making it solid but not overly heavy for its category.

Colour Options and Design

As per leaks, the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max could arrive in three stunning colourways — Flash Black, Electric Purple, and Glimpse Green — along with a special edition variant that might feature a unique design or finish.

Given OnePlus’ recent focus on bold, premium aesthetics, these colours could make the device stand out, similar to what we’ve seen with the Ace 6’s elegant matte finishes.

Global Launch and Indian Rebranding

The regular OnePlus Ace 6 launched exclusively in China last month, but global fans won’t be left behind. Reports suggest that OnePlus will bring the device to international markets as the OnePlus 15R — its next mid-premium global model.

Following that trend, the Ace 6 Pro Max could also be rebranded as part of the OnePlus 15 series for global and Indian markets, possibly carrying the name OnePlus 15R Pro or OnePlus 15R Max.

What to Expect Next

If the leaks are accurate, the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max is shaping up to be a performance monster — pairing next-gen processing power with a huge battery, fast charging, and a silky-smooth display.

While OnePlus hasn’t officially confirmed the phone’s existence or launch date, the appearance of retail packaging suggests that an announcement is imminent.

With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip expected to go official soon, the Ace 6 Pro Max might be among the first to showcase Qualcomm’s latest performance leap — and possibly set a new benchmark for flagship smartphones.

Bottom line: OnePlus looks ready to take the competition head-on with the Ace 6 Pro Max. If the leaks hold true, this could easily be the most powerful OnePlus phone yet — and one of the most exciting Android launches of the year.
